Art of Frank Frazetta

I think what struck me the most about Frank Frazetta's work was the painterly style and the use of contrast and color. It's very reminiscent of Caravaggio for me, especially when he uses a pop of red against a dark background. His color palette and painterly style/ lighting choices are very much something I'd like to execute better in my own work, so having him as a reference is extremely useful.
