3D Proxy Cannon

This week we created a proxy cannon model and then pushed it into UE4. We started by setting up image planes and setting up scale. We used primitives to block out the main shapes, then used the Create Polygon tool allowed us to draw out the more complex shapes like the base and the cannon "wings." After extruding the cylinder "hinge", we had to cut it in half and use "duplicate special" to create an instance so that both sides mirrored each other, which is a great time saver. Below are the main process clips and the final shots of the cannon in UE4, one un-textured, the other with a concrete texture applied.
